This last month of so I have had the adventure as a beginner of setting up my AspireRevo as my dedicated HTPC. I had a few people on here ask about my setup so I wanted to put everything in one central location. I purchased www.revohtpc.com and have attempted to put a nice guide together on setting up the Revo with media center. I am open for comments and suggestions on how to improve the site. Great job man!!  Great info, can I suggest you add the HDHOMERUN as a possible tuner reccomendation?  This would work well with the Revo as you can connected it to your network away from the HTPC say in a closet which would really eliminate the clutter.

Great job. I really want one of those. As far as .mkv files in mc it's actually very easy. just install gabest splitter and they will play natively within mc. You may have to associate the file type with MP by right-clicking, open with...MP, but that's it.

@Sofa, do you have the website for gabest? have you used it with live tv inside of media center? @pete, I will add it right now.

I've never tried this before so i don't know if it will work, but if it does double click, if it asks you if you want to run say yes. Then browse to an mkv file and open it with WMP and if it ask you tell it to always open this file type. Ley me know if you have any problems.
