mmatheny - I see you're running Windows7 32 bit - how long have you been running your current setup? I'm beginning to wonder if it's an x64 issue....

My computer experiencing this is 32-bit WIndows 7 Ultimate.

My computer that has never had this problem is 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate.

Does everyone else use a HVR 2250 who's having this issue or not?

Nope.  My system experiencing this issue has a dual-tuner AverMedia Duet.

My system that is fine has a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600

im glad that i was not the only one having this problem, i have a total of four tuner cards in two different computers with windows 7 64 bit and both systems are experiencing this problem. on one system i have a Hauppauge WinTV-1600 and a pinnacle 800i, and on the other system i have one pinnacle 800i (the two pinnacle cards will not find any channels if both are in the same machine). since both systems were having the same problems and the driver for the pinnacle cards is beta i thought this was the problem. i bought a avermedia duet to replace the system with the one pinnacle card and its still having this problem. did anyone find out anything more about this problem? i was certain that it was a windows problem after i replace my pinnacle card with the avermedia card.

this ahappened to me a few months back, comcast removed all the analog channels and moved the location of the digital ones. I just had to reset up the guide mappings.
